Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Search Box Optimization services provided by SearchBox Buzz (“Provider”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) through searchbox.buzz. By booking a discovery call, signing a service agreement, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.



1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, requesting a discovery call, or entering into a service agreement with SearchBox Buzz, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

These Terms apply alongside your individual written service agreement, which specifies your approved search terms, cost per click, and monthly click cap.


2. Services Description

SearchBox Buzz provides Search Box Optimization services, which include:

  • Placement of your brand within autocomplete suggestions on major search engines including Google and Bing for client-approved keywords (e.g., “roofing Atlanta” becomes “roofing Atlanta [Your Brand]”)
  • When a user selects the autocomplete suggestion and clicks a search result, the resulting page shows only listings associated with the client, driving exclusive traffic and brand visibility
  • Confirmation and counting of actual clicks to your website generated via approved autocomplete terms
  • Budget pacing and automatic campaign pausing once the monthly click cap is reached
  • Performance reporting via a dedicated Client Hub dashboard
  • Assisted setup of Google Analytics and Bing Webmaster Tools at no additional charge

You are charged only for confirmed actual clicks to your website, not for impressions or unconfirmed visits.


3. Eligibility

Our services are available to businesses and individuals aged 18 or over who have legal authority to enter into binding contracts. By using our services, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have authority to bind any business entity on whose behalf you are acting
  • Your use of our services does not violate any applicable law or regulation


4. Account & Client Responsibilities

As a client of SearchBox Buzz, you agree to:

  • Provide written approval of all target search terms before campaign activation
  • Ensure timely payment by entering into a service agreement, you commit to paying monthly for confirmed website clicks received in the previous billing period
  • Ensure your website is operational and accessible so that clicks can be properly attributed and confirmed
  • Set up or grant access to Google Analytics and Bing Webmaster Tools to enable click tracking (we will assist with this at no additional charge)
  • Provide accurate and complete business information during onboarding
  • Notify us promptly of any changes to your website URL or business details

5. Payment & Billing

Key billing terms:

  • A one-time charge of $10 is collected at service initiation to verify your payment method. This amount is applied as a pre-payment toward your first confirmed clicks
  • You are billed monthly based on the actual number of confirmed website clicks generated via your approved autocomplete terms, up to your agreed monthly click cap
  • You will never be charged more than your approved monthly cap in any billing period
  • Your individual service agreement specifies your cost per click (CPC) and monthly click cap
  • Invoices are sent via email and payment is due within 7 days of invoice receipt
  • Late payments may result in campaign suspension until outstanding amounts are cleared

Example: 200 confirmed clicks × $3.00 CPC = $600.00 billed for the month


6. Campaign Terms & Performance

SearchBox Buzz does not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic volumes beyond confirmed clicks, or broader business outcomes. We commit to:

  • Working to activate your brand in autocomplete suggestions for your approved keywords on Google and Bing
  • Charging only for confirmed actual clicks to your website — not for impressions or unconfirmed activity
  • Pausing campaigns automatically once your monthly click cap is reached
  • Providing transparent performance reporting through reporting portal

Performance may vary based on market conditions, geographic factors, and search engine behaviour. We reserve the right to adjust campaign targeting or methods to optimise results and comply with search platform policies.


7. Tracking & Reporting

Accurate click tracking is essential to this service. Both parties agree that:

  • Google Analytics and Bing Webmaster Tools are the agreed platforms for tracking and verifying confirmed clicks to the client’s website
  • The Provider will assist the client with setup of these tools at no additional charge
  • Click counts reflected in these platforms form the basis for monthly billing
  • The client is responsible for maintaining access to these tools and ensuring their website remains properly configured for tracking


8. Intellectual Property

All content, technology, software, trademarks, and materials on searchbox.buzz, including the Search Box Optimization methodology, reporting portal, dashboard, and campaign infrastructure, are the exclusive property of SearchBox Buzz or its licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written consent. You retain full ownership of your own brand assets, approved keywords, website content, and business data.


9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our services to:

  • Promote illegal products, services, or activities
  • Engage in fraudulent click activity or misrepresent your business
  • Violate Google’s, Bing’s, or any other search engine’s terms of service or advertising policies
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Distribute malware, spam, or harmful content through your website
  • Circumvent or interfere with our click confirmation or tracking systems

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate campaign suspension and termination of your account.


10. Disclaimers

Our services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, SearchBox Buzz disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Guarantees of specific search rankings or positions on Google or Bing
  • Guarantees of traffic volumes, lead generation, or business outcomes beyond confirmed clicks
  • Assurances regarding search engine behaviour, algorithm changes, or platform policy updates
  • Warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service


11. Limitation of Liability

SearchBox Buzz is not liable for fluctuations in traffic, changes in search engine behaviour, or third-party algorithm updates. This is a results-based service and charges apply only to confirmed website clicks.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SearchBox Buzz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including loss of revenue or business opportunity.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to SearchBox Buzz in the three months preceding the claim.


12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SearchBox Buzz, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of our services or violation of these Terms
  • Your website content or business operations
  • Any infringement of third-party rights in connection with your approved keywords or campaigns


13. Term & Cancellation

This is a month-to-month agreement. There is no fixed-term commitment.

  • Either party may cancel at any time by providing 30 days written notice before the next billing cycle
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to contact@searchbox.buzz
  • Any confirmed clicks delivered during the final billing period remain billable and payable per the agreed CPC rate
  • SearchBox Buzz reserves the right to suspend or terminate service immediately if you breach these Terms or if continued service poses a risk to our systems or other clients


14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law in the jurisdiction where SearchBox Buzz is registered. Any disputes arising from these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve disputes through direct negotiation for at least 30 days.
